    Vintage Clay Pottery Canoe 7" Black & w Orange Drip Glaze EC Planter or Ashtray ??  Just what the title says.  No chips.  Based on my knowledge of selling pottery for over 30 years, I feel this was a Canadian made piece by McMaster.  They used clay and foil labels.  Just an educated guess. I could be wrong.  Regardless of who made it or its intended use, it is what it is.
