    Great large pottery loon by Dog River Pottery...  In excellent condition.  Measures 10" tall and 6" wide.
    Very reminiscent of Strawberry Hill pottery.

    Dog River Pottery, established in 1994 is nestled in the Kaministiquia Valley, a small rural northern community 27 kilometers west of Thunder Bay in Northern Ontario, Canada. Produced from their original designs, the pottery is made using an earthenware clay, slip-cast into molds. The natural colours and finishes are achieved by using slips (tinted with oxides) and glaze combinations. Underglazes and stains are also utilized. Decorating techniques involve wax and latex resist, scrafitto, air-brushing and painting. It is customary for new designs to be created annually.
