Metal parts are non-magnetic and corrosion resistant. Opens to 3 inches spacing between blades. 12 inches length. This Parallel Ruler allows the navigator to transfer GPS positions easily and precisely to nautical charts. Besides being an aesthetic tool in itself with its aluminum hinges and brass handles, it is invaluable for plotting way points. It has a metric scale along one edge to allow for taking distances and protractor marking on the other edge for plotting bearings.
