Description

"STUDIO VASE"
Short necked barrel form vase with dark olive green glaze,
the body with six horizontal incised rings and irregular vertical incisions,
the neck and vertical incisions with additional dark brown glaze,
signed, 'Klabunde,' on the underside.
Graduated from Nova Scotia College of Art And Design (NSCAD) in 1989
.
Klabunde became somewhat famous as a pottery designer/entrepreneur with Spots Pots.
Featured on CBC TV's Venture Program.
1993 BDC Young Entrepreneur of the Year, 1999 Atlantic Craft Trade Show Exporter of the Year.
