.  The musical opened NYC 09/22/64 and ran for 3242 performances.  The cover features artwork by Morrow.  Inside are production photos, cast headshot photos, bios, musical numbers list, photos of Tevyes around the world and critics' quotes.  The cast includes Paul Lipson, Mimi Randolph, Merwin Goldsmith, Susan Lehman, Peter Marklin, Virgil Curry, Jennie Ventriss, Barbara Coggin, Susan Hufford, Fyv Finkel, Baruch Lumet, James Hobson, Michael Burke, Mark Stone, Maurice Brenner and James McDonald.  Music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, book by Joseph Stein (based on stories by Sholom Aleichem).  Directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins.

Condition is near excellent with minor wear.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
